Recycling Cardboard in Chile

In this post I provide the steps to follow in order to recycle cardboard, as well as supporting images of some of the types of cardboard that can be recycled, as indicated by the Ministry of Environment's website.

Instructions:

1. Remove any element of other material such as tape, staples, etc.

2. If the cardboard is stained with some food, clean it.

3. Reduce its volume.

4. Deposit in the corresponding container.

Below you can find some common cardboard products to recycle. Notice though, that in the end, each recycling point might receive specific products.

Corrugated fiberboard

Packing carton

Kraft paper

Paper tubes
